We are looking for a driven and ambitious Inside Sales Specialist fluent in German to join a rapidly growing business within a global leader in climate technology and sustainability solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic sales professional who enjoys creating opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and developing a career in B2B sales. Working within Verdant Energy Management Solutions, you will help drive the adoption of innovative energy management systems and smart thermostat technologies across the hospitality and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) sectors throughout Europe.

You can be based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, or Aachen, Germany, and benefit from a flexible hybrid working setup.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Generate new business opportunities within the hospitality and MDU sectors across Europe.
  • Engage decision-makers through outbound phone calls, email campaigns, and targeted prospecting activities.
  • Identify and develop relationships with value-added resellers and channel partners.
  • Schedule and confirm in-person meetings and virtual product demonstrations for the external sales team.
  • Work closely with lead generation and sales teams to prioritise outreach activities and maximise pipeline development.
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within the CRM system.
  • Utilise sales intelligence and automation tools to optimise prospecting and follow-up activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify target organisations and key decision-makers.
  • Contribute to a high-performance sales culture while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the business.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, university degree, or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or customer service.
  • Fluent German language skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Quick learner with the ability to understand new products, technologies, and markets.
Preferred Skills and

Qualifications:
  • Experience identifying and engaging senior decision-makers within target organisations.
  • Strong research and prospecting capabilities.
  • Ability to create interest and generate curiosity during initial customer interactions.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven approach to sales development.
  • Experience with in hospitality, property technology, energy management, HVAC, or related sectors would be advantageous.
