Job Title
Retail Territory Manager – Reno – Field Based
Job SummaryAs a Retail Territory Manager, you will be part of the Retail Sales team, working as a field‑based employee in the Reno, NV area. You will manage a territory of Home Depot and Lowe’s accounts (or a combination of these accounts) and be responsible for managing your retail accounts and daily activities, including retail account visits.
Key Responsibilities- Drive top‑line sales to deliver quarterly and annual POS goals and manage customer routing schedules using Sales Force, Power BI, and Show Pad.
- Partner with store and district managers to align sales strategies with their retail goals.
- Analyze POS by store and promotional performance to develop individualized store and territory sales plans.
- Work closely with the Sales Operations team to ensure proper inventory for promotional activities.
- Implement national event activations and local territory activations to boost sales and market share.
- Engage store and district key decision makers to communicate initiatives and develop customized strategies.
- Partner with retail service partners, participate in monthly district meetings and quality walks, and drive corrective actions.
- Leverage sales enablement tools to identify sales gaps and create plans to close them.
- Manage inventory and order writing with retail partners and develop exit strategies for special buy promotions.
- Build and maintain relationships with professional end‑users (Pro) through job site blitzes, product training, and seeding initiatives.
- Plan and execute monthly job site visits aligned with retailer Pro strategies.
- Manage budgets (T&E, Demo Tool, etc.) to ensure profitability.
- 3–5 years of retail sales experience in the consumer goods industry.
- Willingness to travel regionally and work occasional evenings or weekends (8–10 days annually).
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and standing for long periods.
- Strong analytical skills using Power BI and Sales Force data to develop strategic growth plans.
- Knowledge of IT business systems (Salesforce, Tool Commerce, etc.) and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must pass a drug test and motor vehicle records check.
- Competitive base salary in the range of $56,000 to $90,200, with eligibility for a sales incentive plan or commission.
