In Saica Natur El Burgo de Ebro, we are looking for a Technician for biomass supply.

Main functions and responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Equality, Environment, Energy, and Sustainability Policies.
• Supervise in the field the works of biomass exploitation, collection, and preparation.
• Conduct technical visits to agricultural and forestry operations, plots, and forests.
• Maintain direct and continuous relationship with agricultural and forestry owners, managers, and local suppliers.
• Verify compliance with technical specifications and quality of supplied biomass.
• Manage incidents and non-compliance by suppliers.
• Collaborate in the planning of volumes, schedules, and supply routes with the Supply Manager.
• Identify new areas, resources, and opportunities for biomass procurement.
• Support in the management of documentation associated with traceability, sustainability, and origin of the resource.
• Detect incidents at the source that may affect the continuity of supply and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with plant teams to adjust supply to operational needs.
• Monitor biomass stocks at the source and in intermediate parks.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, forestry, and safety regulations in field work.

• Degree in Forest Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Biology, or related fields.
• Technical profiles related to the natural environment will be valued.
• Specific training in agricultural and forestry areas as well as basic knowledge of biomass and forest exploitation will be valued.

• Previous experience in agricultural and/or forestry environments (valuable).
• Experience in fieldwork and relationship with owners or suppliers (valuable).
• Driver’s license and availability for travel.
