As a Security Officer - Access Driver - Weekends in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as manufacturing and industrial. This part‑time role allows you to build a schedule that works for you while supporting a professional and welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents with integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

This is a driving post.

$20.16 per hour

Saturday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
Sunday 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document site access activity in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, production areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security‑related procedures.
• Assist with screening incoming visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors while following manufacturing location rules, reporting concerns and documenting observations.

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
