American Ordnance is seeking a Armed Security Guard to help maintain the safety and security of our operations, employees, and facilities. In this role, you'll perform access control, patrol assigned areas, monitor for potential threats, and respond quickly in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism at all times. • Perform access control tasks at perimeter and internal access points, including vehicle searches and access badge inspections. Routine patrol of installation to inspect and assure production and storage areas are secure, including locking and unlocking of gates.
• Complete all required documentation for assigned duties and tasks, such as search registers, igloo check sheets, repository checks, vehicle check-sheets, and explosive building signature sheets.
• Perform surveillance and counter surveillance to maintain a secure workplace.
• Report potentially unsafe conditions and threats.
• Perform investigations, escorts, stand-bys, vehicle traffic enforcement, including detainment powers.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• Must possess a valid REAL ‑compliant driver’s license (gold or black star) or a current passport.
• Six months of security-related experience and/or training in the last five years preferred.
• Must pass quarterly and yearly physical agility testing.
• Must be able to obtain secret clearance.
• Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members is essential.
• Great attitude and team player.

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $27.67 – $29.13/hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation; the final offer may vary based on experience and geographic location.
