The Warehouse Group looks after some of Aotearoa's most famous and beloved retail brands, including The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming. They stay famous and beloved because we're always working to deliver relevant and exciting customer experiences to Kiwis, including a growing number of public good and sustainability initiatives.

Hours of work:

• Sun, Mon 8:00am-4.30pm
• Tues 8:00am-2.30pm
• Wed 1:30-8:00pm

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

• Monitor security cameras
• Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
• Interact with customers and address their concerns
• Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.
• Expiry Checks throughout our grocery department
• All other duties requested of you

Experience in a customer‑facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Some previous security experience is a requirement of this role. Ideally, you will have good communication skills, Computer skills and the ability to input data with ease and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods.

Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de‑escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
