Work Days: Monday - Friday and sometimes Saturday if needed.
Hourly Range: $25 to $48 an hour. Price to be determined based on experience.
Experience: WE are looking for someone with experience with CAT, Excavators, loaders. dozers, and other Yellow Iron Experience.
Job Description:
Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects. Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles. Repair, rewire and troubleshoot electrical systems. Examine parts for damage or excessive wear. The Technician is responsible for performing jobs involving servicing and repair of equipment. The candidate must be able to evaluate and repair earth moving equipment. The Technician will demonstrate initiative, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions efficiently.
We are looking to hire a Yellow Iron Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, service, and maintain our range of heavy-duty construction equipment.
As the Yellow Iron mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Driving to the job site.
- Inspecting engines and equipment.
- Carrying out services.
- Conducting repairs.
- Providing routine maintenance to the Heavy Equipment.
To ensure success as a Yellow Iron heavy equipment mechanic, you should have a:
- Experience as a Yellow Iron Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Experience working with heavy machinery such as Caterpillar excavators, loaders, and dozers.
- Be physically fit, and be able to troubleshoot issues on the job site.
- 5 years experience as a Yellow Iron Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
