Join our team as a Lube Technician/Shop Mechanic, where you’ll play a vital role in keeping vehicles, truck fleet, and heavy equipment running smoothly and safely. This position offers the opportunity to perform essential maintenance and repair services, ensuring vehicle and equipment reliability. You will work in an environment that values mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to vehicle and equipment care.
Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will help drive our business.
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle and equipment inspections efficiently and accurately. (DOT annual inspection training is a plus)
- Conduct alignments, brake repairs, and tire service to ensure optimal vehicle and equipment performance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical issues and execute repairs.
- Assist with vehicle and equipment maintenance tasks such as fluid top-offs, lubrication, filter replacements, and light repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with shop and field about vehicle and equipment needs.
- Support the shop team with general maintenance tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Previous heavy equipment & vehicle repair shop experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanic experience with automotive equipment diagnostics and repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Experience performing oil changes, alignments, tire services, and basic vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Service technician background with a focus on service excellence.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. We’re looking for motivated individuals who are passionate, eager to learn, and dedicated to providing outstanding service in a team-oriented environment.
