Critical Facilities Technician – Conesville, OH
Join our team as an on‑site Facilities Technician responsible for critical and non‑critical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational oversight in a 24x7 data center environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non‑critical equipment
- Operate and maintain HVAC components, plumbing, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital control systems (including fire alarm, duress, card‑access, CCTV)
- Plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise electrical operations and maintenance; enforce change‑control compliance
- Schedule and ensure quality assurance for preventive, contracted, and general maintenance
- Execute all work according to MOP/SOP/ERP procedures and maintenance instructions
- Operate and monitor critical system equipment; oversee 3rd‑party contractors for safe and compliant operation and modification
- Disable and enable fire alarm control panels and systems as needed
- Receive, execute, and finalize work orders in the computerized maintenance management system
- Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns
- Monitor building operations and conduct property tours during scheduled shifts
- Understand engineering design and operational aspects of all electrical systems
- Assign and monitor safe‑work responsibilities and safety procedures for employees and contractors
- Develop and communicate improvements to ADC’s processes for continuous innovation
- High school diploma and 3–5 years’ experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support, or 7+ years as HVAC or mechanical/electrical technician
- Electrical/Mechanical certifications preferred
- Ability to work overtime and longer shifts (12 hours)
- Availability for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Computer skills required:
Microsoft Office
Hourly Pay Range: $35.00–$45.00.
