Schedule:
Full Time, Monday‑Thursday, 7:00 AM‑6:00 PM.

OverviewThe Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNVRHA) seeks a Maintenance Worker to support affordable housing services for low‑ and moderate‑income households. Position SummaryThis position performs general maintenance tasks—including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, grounds, painting, and irrigation repair—to keep residential units and facilities in good working condition.
Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct trash pickup.
- Prepare vacant units, paint, and perform drywall repair.
- Change filters, replace fire extinguishers annually, and perform pest control duties.
- Install doors, cabinets, countertops, light fixtures, flooring, irrigation valves, toilets, appliances, locks, and related control equipment.
- Prepare supply orders.
- Post notices and flyers.
- Manage inventory parts.
- Respond to emergency calls during working hours as assigned.
Education, training, and work experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least two (2) years of residential building and/or facilities maintenance experience.
- Hands‑on experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, grounds, painting, and irrigation repair.
Physical Ability: This job requires continuous standing, talking or hearing; continuous walking; continuous reaching with hands and arms; continuous gripping or feeling with hands; continuous stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; continuous climbing or balancing; occasional sitting. It is frequently required to lift 50 pounds.
