Southwestern Community College seeks a Carpentry and Building Trades Instructor for its Red Oak career academy. Responsibilities include supervising the carpentry and building trades program, teaching a variety of courses, and overseeing the construction of a residential home. Candidates should have an AAS degree in carpentry or 6,000 hours of carpentry experience, alongside relevant certifications. Strong organizational, leadership skills, and previous teaching experience are preferred.
This is a 190-day instructional contract beginning August 2026.
