Position Summary
The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing technical systems and equipment at client sites. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure client satisfaction and system performance.
Responsibilities Installation and Setup- Install, configure, and test new equipment and systems at client locations.
- Ensure that all installations meet company and industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Repair or replace faulty components as necessary.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the use of equipment and software.
- Address and resolve customer queries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Prepare and submit detailed service reports.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through professional interactions and reliable service.
- Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards during service visits.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, if applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications or technical training may be considered.
- Previous experience in a field service role or technical support position.
- Hands‑on experience with specific equipment or systems relevant to the job.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Knowledge of networking principles, mechanical systems, and electronic components.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of technical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Ability to left and carry up to 25lbs
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, climbing, and sitting.
- Ability to travel 50%
- Work in various environments, including offices, industrial sites, and outdoor locations.
- May require working in different weather conditions and outside regular business hours.
