Field Service Engineer

Position Summary

The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing technical systems and equipment at client sites. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure client satisfaction and system performance.

• Install, configure, and test new equipment and systems at client locations.
• Ensure that all installations meet company and industry standards.

• Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly and effectively.
• Repair or replace faulty components as necessary.

• Provide technical support and training to clients on the use of equipment and software.
• Address and resolve customer queries and concerns in a timely manner.

• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports.

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through professional interactions and reliable service.

• Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards during service visits.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, if applicable.

Other duties as assigned.

• Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications or technical training may be considered.
• Previous experience in a field service role or technical support position.
• Hands‑on experience with specific equipment or systems relevant to the job.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of networking principles, mechanical systems, and electronic components.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of technical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.

• Ability to left and carry up to 25lbs
• Prolonged periods of walking, standing, climbing, and sitting.
• Ability to travel 50%
• Work in various environments, including offices, industrial sites, and outdoor locations.
• May require working in different weather conditions and outside regular business hours.
