We're hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at our rental facility in De Witt, IA. The role requires providing maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company‑owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts, and assisting in building the future of construction.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime pay after 40 hours. The role is subject to on‑call scheduling with additional compensation.

• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
• Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably.
• Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment.
• Assist in training lower‑level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed, completing work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with pick‑up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer‑owned equipment and maintain a clean, professional service vehicle.
• Participate in year‑round company‑provided OEM training.
• Perform other duties assigned as needed.

• Must own tools applicable to the position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.

• High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred.
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be 21 or older to operate company vehicle.

• Must be able to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Field technicians may be required to be clean‑shaven to enter work sites for certain customers.
• This is a safety‑sensitive position and employment will be contingent on passing a 10‑panel drug screen.
