Position Title: Assistant Location Manager

Position Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Assistant Agronomy Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing agronomic operations, providing technical support, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of agronomic practices, and excellent problem‑solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Agronomy Manager in planning and executing agronomic programs and services.
  • Provide technical support and advice to farmers on crop production, pest management, soil health, and nutrient management.
  • Supervise and train agronomy staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct field scouting and diagnostic activities to identify crop issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored agronomic solutions.
  • Assist in the implementation of precision agriculture technologies and data‑driven decision‑making tools.
  • Coordinate and oversee scheduling of agronomic services, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in the preparation of performance reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in agronomy, crop production, or a related field, with a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, pest management, soil health, and nutrient management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with precision agriculture technologies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
