Diesel Mechanic Maint 2nd Shift; B Shift Humboldt Truck Shop

Job Details

This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on diesel engine trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Sunday to Thursday, sometimes Fridays – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, twisting, turning, climbing, push, pulling, stooping, squatting and reaching are required in all areas.
• Lifting 40+ pounds are required in all areas.
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs and ladders.
• The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance.

• Must be able to work in all-weather/climate conditions from very cold to very hot.
• Must be able to work in a dusty environment.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must have a minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).
• 90 days wait period from last termination date.
• 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before).
