Primary Job Duties
- Perform skilled technical duties involving the repair, maintenance, adjustment, replacement, and installation of all types of HVAC-R systems.
- Perform skilled technical duties related to the repair, maintenance, adjustment, replacement, and installation of the building automation system.
- Handle skilled technical duties involving the repair, maintenance, adjustment, replacement, and installation of building pumps and electrical systems.
- Perform tasks regularly assigned to a maintenance technician, with additional duties as needed, in accordance with departmental and property rules, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct skilled technical duties involving the repair, maintenance, replacement, and installation of all types of lighting systems.
- Repair and troubleshoot plumbing and electrical systems, including toilets, urinals, sinks, lights, outlets, and switches.
- Perform skilled technical duties involving the repair, maintenance, adjustment, calibration, replacement, and installation of all types of kitchen equipment.
- Conduct repairs in all guest rooms and public areas.
- Respond to guest requests and in-house maintenance needs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and refrigeration equipment.
- Use personal devices/cellular phones for job-related operational tasks, job duties, and review of company documents.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
- Exceptional service and recovery skills when working with internal and external guests.
- Mastery in interpreting maintenance instructions, sketches, plans, blueprints, procedure manuals, and safety rules.
- Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, busy, and sometimes stressful environment; maintain physical stamina, a positive mental attitude, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting. OSHA 10/30, CPO, or EPA Certifications.
Minimum Education and ExperienceAt least 21 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of four years of prior experience as a Facilities or Maintenance Technician in a similar or related field.
Certificates, Licenses, RegulationsProof of eligibility to work in the United States. Ability to obtain the following:
Nevada Driver’s License.
