Associate Field Engineer

Overview

As an Associate Field Engineer at Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, you will work onsite in Reno, NV at client locations. Your role involves installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing DDC systems while maintaining accurate construction records and communicating project status to the team and customers.

• Install, troubleshoot, and optimize DDC systems.
• Ensure controls, sensors, and software run correctly while configuring trends and alarms.
• Maintain accurate construction records and communicate project status clearly.
• Travel as needed and remain adaptable to changing schedules and project locations.
• Seek out system complexity and take on more responsibility as you advance.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Lift items up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as squatting, climbing for extended periods.
• Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.

• Degree or Technical Certificate in HVAC, Controls, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of BAS integration and TCP/IP networking (including wireless).
• Experience with building automation software such as WebCTRL and installing building automation controls.
• Ability to explain technical information to non‑technical people and work well within a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.

The annual salary for this position is between $43,500 and $87,500, depending on experience and qualifications.
