Be a part of our mission to create comfortable, sustainable, and efficient climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation. Join our HVAC Service team as an intern and gain hands‑on experience supporting field service operations in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
About the RoleThe internship offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians and service professionals while learning about commercial HVAC systems, service processes, and industry best practices. Based in a local service office or assigned market area, you will build technical knowledge, develop professional skills, and gain exposure to real‑world service and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities- Assist HVAC service technicians and team members with daily service operations and administrative support activities.
- Support preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic troubleshooting of commercial HVAC equipment.
- Document service activities, update work orders, and maintain accurate service records.
- Observe and learn safe work practices, tool usage, and service procedures in the field and office environment.
- Support inventory, parts tracking, and organization of service materials and equipment.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding job progress, scheduling, and service needs.
- Participate in training opportunities to expand technical understanding of HVAC systems and service operations.
- Perform other assigned duties in support of the service team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing a certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree in HVAC, mechanical systems, engineering technology, or a related field.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in HVAC systems and service work.
- Willingness to learn, follow direction, and work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to use basic computer applications such as email, Microsoft Office, or service‑related systems.
- Ability to work safely and follow all company safety procedures.
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on role and location.
- Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, or equipment within reasonable job limits.
Hourly Base Pay Range: $18.00 – $26.00. Incentive Eligible:
