Hours:

Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:45pm and Fridays 6:00am-12:00pm

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical machinery and equipment as needed
  • Ability to safely service and troubleshoot electrical components (110v-480v)
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, grounds, and facilities
  • Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area
  • Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities are performed in a neat, orderly, and timely manner
  • Ensure equipment and company assets are operating in a safe manner, per manufacturer and other governing body guidelines
  • Comply with all standard safety practices, safety guidelines, and all Company guidelines and policies
  • Identify and communicate all issues and/or problems in a proactive manner
  • Clean and assist with upkeep of the facilities, including seasonal grounds maintenance, painting, cleaning, and carpentry work
  • Performs routine maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree (AA) from two-year program or at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair
  • Any relevant technical certifications are a plus
  • Ability to use and safely operate hand tools, power tools, fork lifts, scissor lifts, etc.
  • Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings)
  • Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays, installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting)
  • Ability to utilize schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints with switches, starts, maps, relays)
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a small team
  • Punctuality and a positive attitude are mandatory
