Low Voltage Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electricians for projects located in or around Fairfax, IA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $62/hour based on experience plus $100/per diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the Job-site. Job Scope:

• Install raceways for low-voltage electrical systems
• Pull and route electrical cable
• Perform electrical terminations
• Install cable bus and busway systems
• Install electrical equipment in a data center environment
• Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all site safety standards and procedures

Requirements:

• Must possess a current Iowa Journeyman Electrician License or a reciprocal Journeyman License from one of the following states:
  
  Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin or Wyoming
• Candidates using a reciprocal license must register with the State of Iowa and provide proof of 16,000 hours worked in the licensed state
• Must have own tools
• Must be reliable and able to work a consistent schedule
• PPE will be provided by the client
