Job Overview
Skilled Trades Services is currently looking for Pipe Welders for Muscatine, IA area. Must be able to start ASAP and have 5 years of welding experience to be considered for the position.
Responsibilities- Work at an AG industrial site welding Stainless Steel.
- Produce full penetration root passes on S10 SS Pipe using TIG welding with argon backing gas.
- Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on a 6-month plus project.
- Pass a 10-panel drug screen, undergo a background check, and complete online site training before starting.
- Minimum 5 years of welding experience documented on a resume.
- Proficiency with TIG welding on Stainless Steel pipe.
Pay is $30 per hour with a $100 per day per diem for days worked if traveling over 50 miles.
