Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Summary:
The Slot Technician I maintains and repairs all electronic slot equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –Other duties may be assigned:- Adjust and repair slot machines, replacing worn or defective electrical or mechanical parts, using hand tools.
- Use of tech card.
- Assist in testing, bench-repairs, and evaluation of slot machine monitors.
- Maintain other casino electronic devices.
- Conduct general maintenance and service on all machines and equipment.
- Assist in examine defective machines to diagnose causes of malfunctions.
- Conduct daily inspections of machines and equipment.
- Participate in the programming or repair of progressive gaming and other electronic displays.
- Display a positive attitude towards guests and co-workers.
- Comply with company and department policies and procedures.
- Responsible for clocking in and out on time according to work schedule.
- Maintain and understand compliance with IRGC, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform all job functions safely and responsibly.

QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
All Employees must be knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
High school diploma or GED certification required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Gaming License.
SKILLS- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Basic computer experience skills.
