Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Rosewood Park Apartments looking for a qualified full time Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician maintains the day-to-day operations and is responsible for maintaining the property.

• Refurbishing of apartments prior to resident occupancy
• Performing basic electrical, plumping, appliance repairs, and general handyman skills.
• Grounds maintenance
• Keeping accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections and inventories
• Positive interaction with coworkers, residents and vendors

• Must be able to take on-call duty’s
• Have own tools
• Reliable transportation
• High School Education or equivalent
• Training in some or all of these areas a plus: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
• Must be self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
• Minimum two years related experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
  
  Basic knowledge of A/C Heating
• Plumbing, Installation of plumbing fixtures
• Light electrical repairs
• This is a full time position with benefits, and paid vacation
• * Candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check and drug screen.
