Diesel Technician Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Assist senior diesel technicians with inspection, diagnosis, and repair of diesel engines and related systems on heavy-duty trucks.
• Perform basic maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacement, tire services, and fluid checks following company procedures.
• Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to troubleshoot common mechanical and electrical issues under supervision.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in accordance with safety standards and company policies.
• Document services performed and parts used in work orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with team members and service advisors to ensure timely, quality service for professional drivers.
• Participate in company-provided training and development programs to build technical skills and progress toward technician roles.
• Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations while performing repairs and maintenance.
