The Iowa Department of Transportation seeks an experienced Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems on trucks and heavy equipment. You will leverage diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and document repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Residents must be within a 45-minute commute and hold a CDL with required endorsements within five months.
