- Quality Equipment: Operate well‑maintained CAT and John Deere equipment supported by a team of four full‑time mechanics.
What You'll Do:
- Operate & Care for Heavy Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate a variety of construction equipment including excavators, dozers, front‑end loaders, skid loaders, mini excavators, tractors, and other heavy equipment to complete earthwork and site‑development projects. Complete daily safety and maintenance inspections, identify equipment issues, and communicate concerns to the team.
- Build the Job: Perform dirt work, grading, excavation, loading, material movement, and other tasks required to keep construction projects moving safely and efficiently. Every job is different, so you'll operate different equipment and take on new challenges.
- Work Safely as a Team: Communicate with foremen, project managers, truck drivers, and other equipment operators to coordinate work and keep the jobsite productive. Everyone has a role in getting the job done right. Follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements, maintain awareness of your surroundings, and operate equipment responsibly around coworkers, vehicles, and other equipment.
What You Need
- Experience: Previous experience as an Equipment Operator, Skid Steer Operator, Loader Operator, Heavy Equipment Operator, or similar role operating excavators, dozers, loaders, skid loaders, or similar construction equipment. Consistent work history. Familiarity with GPS experience, Trimble highly preferred.
- You'll Be Successful If You: Take pride in operating equipment safely. Communicate well with coworkers and project teams. Are dependable and show up ready to work. Enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team.
- Requirements: Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a driving history (Motor Vehicle Record) check.
