As a Maintenance Technician on our facilities management team, you'll play a critical role in keeping our client's building systems running smoothly and efficiently. This hands-on position combines technical expertise with proactive problem-solving as you perform preventive maintenance, execute repairs, and conduct facility inspections. Your work directly impacts occupant comfort, building safety, and operational continuity—making you an essential partner in delivering the exceptional service JLL is known for.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation
  • Replace lighting fixtures and ballasts throughout the facility as needed
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and provide detailed reports on conditions that may affect client occupancy and operations
  • Update work order status in real-time using CMMS systems (WebTMA) and escalate issues to customers and managers promptly
  • Follow all safety procedures, maintain clean and safe work areas, and identify potential safety hazards with proposed solutions
  • Handle safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with all applicable policies
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate work activities and address facility needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in general building repair and maintenance
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of basic plumbing systems and repairs
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of basic electrical systems and repairs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to work from heights, climb ladders up to 15 feet, and perform frequent climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and overhead work
  • Ability to work in adverse environmental conditions including extreme temperatures
  • Completion of all required safety training programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills with ability to build positive client relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), particularly WebTMA
  • Trade certifications or technical training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing disciplines
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Work Shift:

08 Hour Day - 1st Shift/Morning Shift
