Family Services Consultant

As an In‑Home Family Services Specialist, you’ll support families in their own homes—helping them build stronger relationships, develop parenting skills, and overcome challenges. • Providing in‑home support and teaching practical skills to strengthen families.
• Connecting families with community resources such as schools, healthcare, and social services.
• Offering crisis intervention and guidance when needed.
• Building strong relationships with families and collaborating with professionals like teachers, doctors, and social workers.
• Developing service plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field and 1 year of experience working with children and families, OR
• In rural Iowa:
  Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience, OR
• In rural Iowa: 4 years combined education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
