Child Care Consultant – Child Care Resource and Referral Program

Full‑time position based in Creston, IA. P‑time schedule primarily Monday‑through‑Friday with additional evenings and Saturdays as needed to provide training and support to child‑care providers.

• Recruit, educate, and provide technical assistance to child‑care providers.
• Advocate for child‑care providers.
• Use a quality rating system for program planning and staff development.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Sciences with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Sound technical and computer skills.
• Own dependable transportation, a current and valid driver’s license, and up‑to‑date auto liability insurance.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and Saturdays.
