Job Description
This senior role fosters collaboration with other senior engineers for the development of advanced data analytics solutions and agile development projects in support of a high‑visibility mission.
The position involves providing technical leadership and guidance on data analytics and agile development projects, as well as collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive mission objectives.
We are a part of Lockheed Martin, a leading aerospace and defense company shaping the future of cyber and intelligence. The Program seeks a full stack software engineer to develop, maintain and enhance complex and diverse software systems supporting analytic missions.
The Program has a robust process to ensure quality of products. This includes design and analysis testing (DAT), user acceptance testing/subject‑matter‑expert validation, smoke testing, and system‑level testing (SLT) prior to deploying products to production.
Qualifications- Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
- Seven (7) years’ experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience (total of 11) on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience as a software engineer with knowledge assisting in the design, development, testing, and debugging of software solutions, with a focus on Linux operating systems.
- Strong familiarity with programming languages such as Java.
- Full‑stack development experience including JavaScript, React, and Mongo
DB; prior analytic experience in production environments.
