Group Fitness Instructor

Job Description

The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for leading high-energy, professional fitness classes for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) students and active-duty members. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Tai-Chi and Martial Arts
, with the versatility to lead diverse formats ranging from Mind-Body to Strength and Conditioning.

We are looking for an instructor who can create a challenging yet safe environment, motivating participants of all fitness levels to hit their wellness goals. You must possess the enthusiasm to keep students engaged and the expertise to provide a safe, technical, and inspiring workout experience.

• Instruction:Lead Group Fitness and Mind-Body classes tailored for CBP students and active-duty personnel.
• Programming:Design and execute engaging, challenging, and safe lesson plans for various formats (Martial Arts, Tai-Chi, Strength, etc.).
• Safety & Inclusivity:Ensure participant safety at all times; provide real-time modifications and adjustments to accommodate all fitness levels.
• Motivation:Foster a high-energy environment that inspires members to push their physical boundaries.
• Professional Development:Maintain industry knowledge by staying up to date on the latest fitness standards and guidelines.

• Expertise:Experienced in Tai-Chi and Martial Arts with the ability to adapt those disciplines into various fitness formats.
• Versatility:Proven experience facilitating classes for diverse groups and all fitness levels.
• Personality:Energetic, enthusiastic, and highly professional demeanor.
• Certifications:
  • Current
    American Red Cross
    or
    AHA
    CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
  • Nationally recognized Group Fitness or Personal Training certification.

• Professional Growth:We provide our certified instructors with access toClub Connect (NASM) to easily manage and update
  
  CEUsand pursueadditional certificationsat no cost.
