DSV Air & Sea is seeking a dynamic, personable, multi‑tasker to act as the core of our logistics team. In this role you will deliver high‑quality customer service, manage freight bookings and documentation, and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth, timely delivery of goods.

• Schedule ocean and/or air bookings for hazardous and non‑hazardous materials, including both simple and complex cargo shipments.
• Ensure complete and timely delivery of freight by gathering client requirements, satisfying their needs, and completing all necessary paperwork.
• Process data through the company system and obtain consular releases and other government agency releases as appropriate.
• Identify transactions and tasks that require special handling, recommend process improvements, and implement resolutions within the assigned scope of responsibility.
• Request and negotiate freight quotations, detailing container capacities, packing dimensions, weights, coding, and other relevant information.
• Analyze numerical data, understand component relationships, find patterns, and draw conclusions.
• Compose complex letters regarding issues and resolutions, editing and proofreading business correspondence and reports, and organize, prepare, and assemble documents.
• Comprehend the full range of freight forwarding services, including order management, movement scheduling, customs brokerage, monitoring and control services, and cost optimization.

• Freight forwarding experience preferred.
• Prior use of Cargo Wise One is a definite plus.
• Three years of experience in a role involving extensive client contact.
• Computer skills including frequent use of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent math skills and the ability to calculate freight measurements, weight, and convert to international units.
• Familiarity with domestic and international geography including countries and major cities.
• Extreme attention to detail and the ability to predict and circumvent issues before they occur.
• Ability to be highly productive while remaining calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Knowledge of freight logistics and customs regulations.
• Understanding of trade laws and regulations.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with logistics software and systems preferred.

For this position the expected base pay is $20.00 – $27.00 per hour. Actual base compensation will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, geographic location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
