SUBSTITUTE VAN DRIVERS – The Benton CSD is seeking substitute/temporary van drivers. Benton Community is a large rural school district in east central Iowa covering 330 square miles with 18 regular bus routes.
To drive a school van in Iowa you must obtain a Class D Chauffeurs License. You must hold a valid Iowa driver’s license and have a clear driving record for the previous two years, pass a vision screening test, and earn the endorsement.
The role includes:
- New Driver STOP Class.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Pass a DOT physical.
