Driver NON CDL

Ryder is hiring a NON CDL Truck Driver in New Hampton, NY — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Driver positions pay weekly.
• Hours per week: 40 + overtime.
• Solo miles pay: $0.46 per mile.
• Solo stops pay: $16.00 per stop.
• Paid training.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, no weekends.
• Start time: 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder drug test.
• Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in similar equipment if position is operating a straight or box truck):
  • 6 months experience in the past 3 years, or
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, or
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, and policies.

• Safely drive a vehicle within and outside a 120‑mile radius of New Hampton, NY.
• Comply with safety regulations, complete continuous training, and provide customer service.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and load/unload freight or assist customers as required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Medical, dental, and vision after 30 days.
• 80 hours paid time off in the first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it).
