Position SummaryThe Forklift Driver (Night Shift) is responsible for operating power industrial trucks to move, stack, receive, and ship merchandise. The role requires accurate inventory handling, compliance with safety and quality standards, and occasional order‑filling duties.
Location & ScheduleLocation:
USA – West Branch, 160 Fawcett Drive
Schedule:
12‑hour night shift (6 pm–6 am) on a 2‑day on / 2‑day off / 3‑day on cycle.
- $18.00/hr base + $1.00/hr shift differential
- Production incentives up to additional $5.00/hr
- Sign‑on bonus: $500
- Unload inbound shipments safely and record data accurately in the Warehouse Management System.
- Stack and store products in designated areas.
- Order picking for outbound shipments, ensuring correct quantity and product type.
- Verify inbound and outbound loads for accuracy and damage, reporting variances.
- Move product from staging to production lines or docks, ensuring proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, assist in physical inventories, and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Perform routine forklift maintenance and inspections.
- Adhere to all safety, housekeeping, and compliance policies.
- Maintain active forklift certification at all times.
- Assist with general facility maintenance and fuel handling as required.
- Work overtime when business demands arise.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 months experience in a logistics or distribution environment.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
- Capability to work in warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate.
- Completion of a forklift training program.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with RF scanners.
- English proficiency for reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Basic to intermediate math skills for inventory verification.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- 1–2 years experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- 1–2 years forklift experience.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Occasionally handle / finger product, sit.
- Frequently bend, squat, or kneel.
- Constantly walk, stand, lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds; reach, squat, or kneel as required.
