We are seeking a bus driver to drive a route. The hours would be a total of four each day. Maximum of two in the a.m. and two in the afternoon.

• Transport students to/from school.
• Team leader – communicate information to team members.
• Check vehicle to ensure it is in operable condition (pre-trip, fueling, operational testing, etc.).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Obtain and maintain a valid CDL license with proper endorsement.
• Obtain and maintain a valid DOT physical and valid Medical Certificate, per FMCSA requirements.
• Pass pre-employment, subsequent agility tests, and periodic background/substance abuse screen (random and reasonable suspicion).
• Register and maintain an account with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• Work well with others, including all personality types.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Have and use effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effectively manage student behavior.
• Other duties as assigned by Transportation Director.

• $26.39 per hour (4 hrs. per day).
• Nights and weekends off unless you request to drive activities.
• Opportunities to pick up extra assignments.
• You will work the student school days of the year with the pay spread out over 12 months.
• Holiday Pay.
• IPERS Eligible from day one.
