Salary Range: $28.00 To $35.00 Hourly

PVS Metals / FR8 (Owen Industries) – Carter Lake, IA (Near Downtown Omaha) | Full-Time

Are you an experienced Class A CDL Driver looking for steady regional routes with reliable home time? At PVS Metals, we're seeking dependable, skilled drivers to handle steel deliveries across the Midwest. Unlike traditional OTR, our regional drivers are only out 2–3 nights per week and home most weekends.

If you want the open road without sacrificing your personal life — and you want to be paid competitively for every hour you work — this is your role.

• Per Diem: Up to $75/night for overnight stays
• Home Time: Home most weekends — only 2–3 nights away during the week
• Routes: Regional Midwest

Benefits begin the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment.

• Safely operate Class A flatbed trucks across Midwest regional routes, following all DOT, state, and federal regulations
• Perform regular preventive maintenance checks and keep your truck in excellent condition
• Plan and execute deliveries efficiently, ensuring materials arrive safely and on time
• Represent PVS Metals professionally, building strong relationships with customers during deliveries
• Maintain accurate route, hours, and delivery documentation

• Valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements
• 3–5 years of flatbed driving experience — steel hauling strongly preferred
• Knowledge of safe freight handling and load securement
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A safety-first mindset and the ability to work independently on the road
• Reliable, punctual, and professional on every delivery
• Team player who supports fellow drivers and crew in meeting goals
