Job Title: Dock Coordinator - 2nd shift
Division: Solutions |
Location: USA - West Branch, 160 Fawcett Drive
Schedule: 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm M-F)
Compensation: $18.75 - $21.50 per hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPicking Responsibilities
- Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
- Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas.
- Stack, package, band, shrink‑wrap and label products as determined by client requirements.
- All picking functions processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Use appropriate documentation to ensure all products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly.
- Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, reporting any damages or discrepancies.
- Stack, package, shrink‑wrap and label products.
- All quality control functions processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance
- Execute all safety protocols and accomplish job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and assist in warehouse security.
- Comply with all SOPs, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules and OSHA/SDS Standards.
Equipment Operation
- Operate a pallet jack and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain and report equipment problems.
- Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods.
- Assist in building, grounds and equipment maintenance as assigned.
Other Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.
- English reading, writing, and verbal skills.
- Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for inventory verification.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- 6 months experience in a warehouse, logistics and/or distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Occasionally bending.
- Frequently walking and standing.
- Constantly lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling.
- Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
When performing job duties, employees are rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level is usually low to moderate.
