The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual also counts and inspects product, notifying leadership of any damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will perform all duties as assigned. They are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality, complying with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Picking Responsibilities- The picking functions include, but are not limited to, using a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands. Associates must efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas.
- Associates will stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements. All picking functions will be processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Using the appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly.
- Verifying that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies.
- Stacking, packaging, shrink‑wrapping, and labeling products according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Executing all safety protocols and completing job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, assisting in security of the warehouse.
- Complying with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
- Using a pallet jack and other equipment as required.
- Maintaining equipment and reporting any problems.
- Operating all equipment safely and efficiently and following prescribed work methods.
- Assisting in building, grounds and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Working overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
Required Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate.
- Basic computer skills required for scanning and data entry.
- English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, accomplishing job tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast‑paced work environment.
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Bending (occasionally).
- Walking and standing (frequently).
- Ability to lift/carry and push/pull, reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
Rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level is usually low to moderate.

CompensationFor this position, the expected base pay range is $24 – $26 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
