Inventory Control Specialist

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and supporting daily warehouse operations.

• Lead cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and related programs to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate task distribution in partnership with Material Flow, Operations, and IC leadership.
• Train, guide, and support material handlers across receiving, inventory control, and data-gathering activities.
• Monitor WMS data and transactions; generate reports to support operational and management decision-making.
• Establish, model, and maintain quality control standards and inventory process compliance.
• Investigate inventory variances, conduct root cause analysis, and document findings for operational improvement.
• Compile, verify, and report inventory metrics. Support daily / weekly reporting of activities and trends.
• Oversee raw material documentation flow, certificate creation, and general inventory record integrity.
• Perform physical material-handling tasks as needed and maintain a clean, organized work environment, along with other assigned duties. May include occasional forklift driving to enable core duties.
• Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety, particularly related to material handling equipment.
