Civil Engineering, Site Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We're looking for a Sub Agent to join our Sizewell C Project team based in Suffolk.
Location: Sizewell C Project, Suffolk
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Sub Agent, you'll be responsible for managing a defined section of works on a major infrastructure project, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery. You'll act as the key interface between the Project Manager and the site team, leading engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to achieve project objectives. Working in a highly regulated environment at Sizewell C, you'll maintain high standards of Health, Safety, Wellbeing, Environment and Quality.
Whatwill you be responsible for?
As a Sub Agent, you'll be working within the Sizewell C Project team, supporting them in delivering major infrastructure works to programme, cost and quality targets. Your day-to-day will include:
- Leading the delivery of a section of works, ensuring compliance with programme, cost and quality objectives.
- Ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality standards are maintained in line with requirements.
- Supervising engineers, foremen and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative one-team culture.
- Managing technical control, including temporary works, design compliance and as-built documentation.
- Planning and coordinating resources, including labour, plant and materials to support efficient delivery.
This role of Sub Agent is great for you if:
- You hold a Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction (or equivalent), or have proven industry experience.
- You have experience in major infrastructure, highways or heavy civils projects.
- You possess a strong understanding of temporary works, RAMS, programme delivery and quality systems.
- You hold a CSCS card and are working towards professional membership (ICE/CIOB desirable).
- You have excellent communication skills and can work effectively with site teams and stakeholders.
