Interior Design Assistant

Cummings Architecture + Interiors is a distinguished firm specializing in residential design throughout eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. Situated in the historic downtown of Ipswich along the Ipswich River, we are a vibrant boutique architecture and interior design practice. Our firm has received numerous awards and has been published locally and nationally.

We are currently in search of a motivated and experienced interior designer to become a part of our team. Our portfolio encompasses a diverse range of projects, including new custom residential homes, additions, historic preservation, and unique commercial designs.

• Ability to work closely with our team of designers to support the design process and provide exceptional service to our clients
• Assist designers in creating and presenting design concepts to clients
• Collaborate with designers to source and select materials, furniture, and accessories for projects
• Take accurate measurements and create floor plans for design projects
• Maintain and organize design materials, samples, and product catalogs
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and answer any questions
• Prepare and present design presentations to clients
• Assist in coordinating and scheduling installations and deliveries
• Attend client meetings and take detailed notes
• Help maintain the overall appearance and organization of the studio
• Provide administrative support to designers as needed
