OverviewWe are looking for an exceptional Office Manager to lead our busy school office at a specialist school for pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. The role is pivotal, overseeing systems, supporting a small team and ensuring smooth behind‑the‑scenes operations so staff can focus on teaching and pupils can thrive.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the front office and administrative team.
- Ensure day‑to‑day school operations run efficiently.
- Maintain effective and reliable systems, processes and communications.
- Provide high‑quality support to the Headteacher and staff.
- Create a professional and welcoming front office environment for visitors and contacts.
- Remain calm, focused and solution‑driven in a busy environment.
- Build positive relationships with staff, parents and visitors.
- Deliver consistently high‑quality service.
- Shape and improve office operations in partnership with the Headteacher.
- Subject to an enhanced DBS check.
