Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and respond to customer enquiries relating to pricing, quotations, services and general information in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
  • Support the wider Sales team by prioritizing enquiries and activities in line with business objectives and company strategy.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on sales leads and support the conversion of new business opportunities.
  • Handle enquiries from both new and existing customers, including quotation requests, cold calling, tender preparation, sales presentations and general sales support.
  • Identify opportunities to cross‑sell and up‑sell Samskip services within the existing customer portfolio.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer activity records within the CRM system.
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Operations, Finance and other internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery for new and existing customers.
  • Support the onboarding of new business, including the implementation of SOPs, credit requests, internal handovers and launch meetings where required.
  • Assist in resolving escalated customer complaints by working collaboratively with internal teams and communicating with customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure customer documentation, service information and operational requirements are maintained accurately within relevant systems.
  • Act as a professional ambassador for Samskip, ensuring all customer communication reflects the company’s values, service standards and brand reputation.
