KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 1-2 years' relevant experience in Growing and Horticulture.
• Experience could be in commercial growing or academia/research — we are open-minded!
• Strawberries expertise is a 'nice to have' but not essential.
• Exposure to Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) is a bonus but not essential.
• Forward-thinking and open to embracing new innovations.

OVERVIEW:

A Vertical Farming business with a unique approach. This start-up is backed by a larger organization, has a domain expert at the helm, and a clear vision regarding renewable energy accessibility and commercialization.

Currently focused on developing a proof-of-concept Vertical Farming growing space, with plans to move into a larger commercial facility next year.

They are seeking to expand their growing capabilities by hiring an Assistant Grower (reporting to a more senior Grower). The role offers potential career progression as the business scales up.

This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in industry, at the forefront of innovation.

CEA / Vertical Farming experience is a bonus but not essential, nor is Strawberries exposure. Personal traits such as a desire to grow professionally and an innovative mindset are valued most.
