Up to £37,500pa, depending on experience

Our client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the Suffolk area. This is a home-based role (ideally South Suffolk) providing servicing and maintenance of forklifts and materials handling equipment. Full in-house and industry-specific training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to client sites to service, repair, and maintain materials handling equipment

Liaise with the service controller to plan the working day efficiently

Receive and manage daily job schedules via bespoke management software

Complete all job documentation accurately via the management system

Skills & Experience Required:

Full driving licence essential

GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)

Mechanical Engineering qualification (C&G or NVQ Level
2)

Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer in the materials handling industry

Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience preferred

Skilled in fault finding, repair, and servicing

Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements in workshop practices

Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills

Ability to multitask and work independently
