Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for an experienced Diesel Field Service Techinican to join a well-established and growing business within the Critical Power sector working on Diesel Generators. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Technician looking for long-term stability, strong earning potential and varied work across the South and East of England.

The role is split approximately 75% field-based and 25% workshop-based, offering a good balance between customer site work and in-house support.

The Role

Service, maintain and repair diesel generators and associated equipment
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using diagnostic software
Carry out load bank testing and system performance checks
Assist with installation and commissioning of new generator systems
Attend breakdown call-outs on a rota basis
Complete service documentation accurately and ensure compliance with industry standards

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience installing, servicing and maintaining diesel generators
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
Knowledge of generator control systems (desirable)
Confident using laptops and diagnostic software
Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
Full UK driving licence (essential)
What's On Offer

£37,000 - £40,000 basic salary

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
