Mobile Craftsperson Painter – Suffolk (3 months Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: £15.27 per hour;

40 hours per week;

Join the Orwell Team. We look for a skilled Craftsperson Painter to deliver high‑quality decorating across our properties.

• Complete internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard.
• Carry out minor pre‑painting repairs.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Report repairs, defects or safety concerns promptly.
• Sourcing materials efficiently and cost effectively.
• Work closely with colleagues to improve the service.
• Liaise with residents to support a positive customer experience.
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and lone‑working procedures.
• Maintain accurate records on our systems.

• 5+ years' painting experience.
• Experience working in customer‑facing environments.
• General carpentry skills.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and risk assessments.
• A proactive, self‑motivated approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and flexibility.
• Confident communication skills.
• Full driving licence (essential).
• NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (desirable).
