Mobile Craftsperson Painter – Suffolk – 3 months Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £15.27 per hour

Hours:

40 hours per week

• Completing internal and external painting and decorating to a high standard
• Carrying out minor pre‑painting repairs
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Reporting repairs, defects or safety concerns promptly
• Sourcing materials efficiently and cost‑effectively
• Working closely with colleagues to improve the service
• Liaising with residents to support a positive customer experience
• Following Health & Safety, COSHH and lone working procedures
• Maintaining accurate records on our systems

• 5+ years’ painting experience
• Experience working in customer‑facing environments
• General carpentry skills
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and risk assessments
• A proactive, self‑motivated approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and flexibility
• Confident communication skills
• Full driving licence (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (desirable)
