Role Overview The Approved Electrician will install, test, and maintain electrical systems to industry standards, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality work across all projects. The role also involves fault-finding, completing documentation, and supporting colleagues on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and commission electrical systems to BS 7671 standards. Carry out inspection, testing, and certification (EIC/EICR/MEIWC). Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently. Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with regulations. Supervise and support Electricians and Apprentices when required. Communicate effectively with clients and project teams. Required qualifications / Expectations /

Experience:

Level 3 technical qualifications documentary evidence of vocational training (i.e. Apprenticeship or NVQ
3). 18th edition Testing and inspection (2391) ECS Gold Card Proven site experience Full clean manual UK driving license Ability to compete company Risk Assessments Proven experience as an Approved or Qualified Electrician in commercial and/or industrial environments Strong background in electrical installation, testing, and fault-finding Competence in completing EIC/EICR/MEIWC documentation Experience working to BS 7671 and established health & safety practices.
